A Psalm of Lament when decisions aren’t clear
Father, I sit alone and I need you now. Oh God my savior, please tell me how, what, where or why. I’ve called and nothing, there is no answer I call again soon. I don’t know what to do, Cry, fight, run, or listen for you. I trust in your Justice, I just in your love I know no one else can guide me. Lord, You are my Banner, Shield, Buckler, Maker and Sustainer No one else is all that to me. Lead me! Guide me! I know what each path requires. Yet, I don’t know the end. With your gentle loving hand remove the scales from my eyes I desire to see your plan, will and destiny for me My way seems crooked, they say its up to me… it can never be up to me Yet, I can never make a decision without you your grace and mercy surround me. Oh Lord have I sinned, Please forgive me. In your righteous grace please spare me. I see the horizon of a new day. God you are showing me your way. You are Kind, Good, Faithful, compassionate, gracious, Gentle You alone are Sovereign! Many will see your hand upon me and be Glad All praise be to your name.
